Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 75kDa band in Mouse Kidney lysates after 1µg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 59.0kDa according to NP_061273.1. The 75kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.Flow Cytometry: Flow cytometric analysis of NIH3T3 cells. Recommended concentration: 10ug/ml.Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:8000.

Ca2+ induces binding of the C2-domains to phospholipid membranes and to assembled SNARE-complexes; both actions contribute to triggering exocytosis. Plays a role in dendrite formation by melanocytes.
