We improved our Homepage


Dear Customer,

At first sight our homepage looks the same as before, but this changes when it comes to the product pages (factsheets). They now show the price of the respective antibody, have direct access to the webshop, give an overview of the blots and IF images of a product as thumbnails and list the references for each application. The data sheets can now also be downloaded as PDF files. Feedbacks about these modifications are highly welcomed. Please send your comments to marketing1@sysy.com

We also added new targets to our portfolio. The first is an affinity-purified polyclonal rabbit antibody against Histidine decarboxylase (HDC). HDC is involved in the synthesis of histamine which is not only a crucial messenger in the inflammatory response but plays also an important role in the brain e.g., regulating the sleep-wake rhythm, or in nociception. HDC expressing neurons can be found in the tuberomammillary nucleus (TMN), which is located in the hypothalamus.
A second polyclonal rabbit antibody (also affinity-purified) was developed against the transcription factor Islet-1 (Isl1). Isl1 is central in the embryogenesis of pancreatic islets of Langerhans and in specification of motor neurons. Expression of Isl1 can also be found in subsets of neurons in medulla and dorsal root ganglion, furthermore this protein can be used as marker for the inner nuclear and ganglion cell layers in the retina. Our new antibody shows excellent results in IHC and IHC-P applications.
The third new target is Lamin B1 (LMNB1), a protein of the nuclear lamina. This protein is ubiquitously expressed and mutations are usually lethal. Improper Lamin B1 expression has been observed in several cancer pathologies and loss of expression has been used as a senescence-associated biomarker. This new affinity purified polyclonal rabbit antibody is specific for mouse and does not recognize human Lamin B1. This and the ubiquitous expression makes it an ideal marker to distinguish murine from human cells in humanized mouse models.
Finally, the well-established SYSY rabbit antibodies against PSD 95, SV 2A and SV 2B can now also be obtained affinity purified.
