Overview |
|
Mycoplasma, a common contamination of cell culture, are invisible under standard microscope examination. Mycoplasma contamination can deprive host cells of nutrients and induce global changes in host gene expression, which may effect experimental results and reduce cellular products. Thus, it is important to test for the presence of mycoplasma contamination in cell culture frequently to minimize the impact of an undetected contamination. |
Creative Biogene provides various mycoplasma testing methods to meet different needs (for research or manufacturing materials). |
