No amplification signal is observed for a known COVID negative sample with the TakyonⓇUltra (yellow) while competitor T reagents gives false positive signal. In addition, the virus is detected with a brighter signal for the 2 positive patient samples when using TakyonⓇ Ultra .
Figure 1. Sarbeco E gene (SARS-Cov-2 RNA viral target) detection in samples from known COVID-19 positive (patients 1 & 2) or negative (patient 3) patients.
TakyonⓇ Ultra (yellow) demonstrates a better linear dynamic range than competitor T (dark blue) and better signal than competitor B (light blue) reagents.
Figure 2. Linear dynamic range in 10-fold dilutions from 500,000 down to 5 copies of SARS-COV-2 RNA Control (TWIST Bioscience #MT007544.1).
TakyonⓇ Ultra (yellow) maintains consistent amplification results after 24h at -20°C (dark blue, recommended storage conditions), 4°C (light blue) or 20°C (yellow).
Figure 3. 10-fold linear range from 100 000 down to 10 copies of SARS-COV-2 RNA Control (TWIST Bioscience #MT007544.1) under different storage temperatures for 24h.
