The Impact of T-cells on Testing & More to support ongoing COVID-19 research It has been reported that a yet to be peer reviewed T-cell test may be more effective than an antibody test when identifying recent or past COVID-19 infections. This improved performance is due the T-cells’ immunological memory whereas antibodies decrease over time. This T- Cell immunological memory is key as your body continues to make an abundance of T-cells and maintain for years within the tissue affected by the virus. This new discovery is laying the groundwork for both improved testing of an active virus and weaponizing the T-cells to help vulnerable individuals from infection. We are excited about these advancements in the fight against COVID and offer a wide range of products to help further this research. Related Products
Supporting COVID-19 & Life Science Research In case you missed it, we recently released our SARS-CoV-2 IgG Seroconversion ELISA Kit for the qualitative determination of SARS-CoV-2 specific antibodies of IgG class in plasma or serum samples. This kit is specific to the RBD of the spike protein, ensuring high sensitivity and specificity. We also offer a recombinant version of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein RBD. We also introduced our new Viral Transport Media (VTM) line and Synthetic Human Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) to help support ongoing research into COVID-19 and other life science applications.
We have recently seen increasing popularity among several of our products, and these continue to be available: |
