Description

Protein C-ets-1 (C-ets-1) is a transcription factor that interacts with MAF and MAFB. C-ets-1 is sumoylated on Lys-15 and Lys-227, preferentially by SUMO2, which inhibits transcriptional activity. C-ets-1 is also ubiquitinated, which induces proteasomal degradation.
