Whole blood is collected from young healthy rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) Breeds: New
Zealand White and/or California White that are 8 – 12 weeks of age, either sex and fasted at the
time of slaughter, processed, bottled, and stored at -10 °C or below. The serum is then thawed,
pooled, and bottled.
