Description
Whole blood is collected from young healthy rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) Breeds: New
Zealand White and/or California White that are 8 – 12 weeks of age, either sex. The blood is
refrigerated within 6 hours of collection, processed within 24 hours and frozen at or below -10
°C. The serum is then thawed in a cool waterbath, delipidized using a standard in-house
protocol, filtered through a 0.22 micron filter, bottled, and frozen.
