Introduction

Tissue-Tech O.C.T. compound is used in tissue embedding and frozen section. This compound could be stored at room temperature.

Utilization and Advantage

Use Tiuuse-Tech O.C.T. Compound (PS002) to bind tissue to the specimen block and to surround and cover the tissue specimen. Tissue-Tech is a very powerful material for frozen section. It’s embedding medium for frozen tissue specimens. Tissue-Tech O.C.T. Compound (PS002) is water-soluble and leaves no residue to discolor section or slide. After section, the frozen tissues maintain the original structure, and the cubic ice will not be formed. There is no distortion or detachment of the tissues section on the slides. Tissue-Tech O.C.T. Compound (PS002) is easily infiltrated into the tissues. It doesn’t forms color, nor has any deteriorated effect for latter staining.
