One-step purification of a C-tagged recombinant protein using CaptureSelect™ C-tag Affinity Matrix
C-tag is a small size affinity tag with 4 amino acids (E-P-E-A) that can be fused with protein
constructs.
It provides high affinity and selectivity for protein purification while having limited effects on
protein functionality.
The BiTE (bispecific T-cell engager) consists of two distinct scFvs linked in tandem by a short,
flexible
peptide linker. BiTEs are engineered to simultaneously target both CD3 on T cells and
tumor-associated
antigens (e.g., BCMA).

EC50= 6.7 ng/mL
Recombinant CD3D & CD3E heterodimer protein was immobilized and incubated with the CD3×BCMA BiTE,
followed
by incubation with Fc-tagged recombinant BCMA protein. Detection was achieved using an
HRP-conjugated
secondary antibody.
